DID YOU KNOW that Art is a passion of mine? To share this love for Art, I have created a Summer Art Enrichment Program (beginning Summer 2026) for your child(ren) to participate in! All Art-Lovers welcome!
WHAT:
Week-long Art Program focusing on a specific theme
A variety of age-appropriate arts and crafts projects incorporating mediums such as painting, collage, stamping, watercolors, sculpture, and paper-mache.
Activities will be tailored to each age group’s abilities and developmental levels.
A different theme will be chosen for each week
Free Art time at the end of each session
Two Options: Stay with your child (cheaper) or Drop-off and pick-up at the end (more expensive)
Small group environment: 5-10 kids per session, depending on how many parents choose the "Stay-With" option.
And yes, parents/guardians/DSP/PSWs (any support person), you are free to create Art with the materials if you choose the Stay-With option, too!

WHO is best suited for this program?
Age groups will be divided up between different weeks, depending on availability. Current age groups will include:
Children ages 4-6
Children ages 7-12
Teens & Young Adults, 13-21 (May be broken into two separate groups, depending on number of participants)
All art ability levels welcome! If your child loves to create art, this program is for them!
Participants must have basic safety awareness and be able to maintain safety towards Self and Others when/if they become dysregulated.
Dysregulation happens. That is okay! Big emotions are a part of life, and it is okay for your child to experience them.
If your child struggles with emotional regulation at times, they are still welcome! I ask that you share any challenges with regulation they have, and we can discuss their triggers, which accommodations are most supportive, as well as options to ensure participation.
I may ask that you (their guardian/parent) or their DSP/PSW/other support person, stay with them if I feel their needs exceed my abilities within a larger group context. This is to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all, including your child/participant! My goal is always to be as inclusive and accessible as possible, while maintaining an environment that feels safe and fun for all and honoring my own capacity.
The Stay-With option is also cheaper, if your child would be most successful having someone with them to support.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns about this if your child is interested in participating but there are concerns about regulation. I am very collaborative and have experience working with a wide variety of Neurotypes.

WHY invest in an Art Enrichment program for your child? So many reasons! Here are some, based on research studies, below:
This post summarizes the findings of the Research cited on the right, titled "Snapshots of Arts Education in Childhood and Adolescence: Access and Outcomes." Key findings include:
"At-home arts engagement of toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners was positively correlated with a variety of social-emotional attributes and cognitive outcomes.
Participation in out-of-school arts activities was positively correlated with many social-emotional attributes and academic outcomes for children from kindergarten through fifth grade.
Among high schoolers, arts participation was positively correlated with social-emotional attributes during ninth grade, while arts course completion was linked with greater academic achievement, high school graduation, and post-graduation outcomes." - Sunil Iyengar, 2025.
Research continuously shows that Art supports social/emotional development, fine motor skills, problem solving and creativity, and cognitive development. Likewise, within Process Art projects we learn to enjoy the process over the final product, and reduce anxiety related to perfectionism as we practice the Art of letting go.
