Tutoring

In-Home Tutoring Sessions:

Sessions will utilize hands-on learning methods and activities, your child's current strengths in order to build up and work on areas of need, and their Passionate Interests to support engagement and attention.  I specialize in working with students who are Nonspeaking, minimally verbal, and/or have difficulty maintaining attention to and engagement in academic tasks, so if your child has complex needs please do not allow that to deter you from reaching out! During our tutoring sessions, I will incorporate your child's favorite types of activities, PLAY, and their interests, as well as prioritize Relationship and Trust, in order to support their overall engagement and academic progress. 

Process: 

1. Free 30-Minute Consultation
Click here to book a Free 30-Minute Consultation with me to discuss your currents needs, hopes, and challenges, as well as the specific academic support you are looking for, to ensure I would be a good fit for you and your child.  

2.  Email & Forms
I will then send you a follow-up email  including  a brief summary of what was discussed, upcoming availability for our first session, and any Onboarding Paperwork (Parent Interview form, Payment Agreement, New Client Contract).  The forms must be completed before our first scheduled session, so keep that in mind when scheduling.

3. Tutoring Session
These sessions will be up to 60 minutes long, and will be completely individualized and tailored to your child's learning style and preferences. Using an interest-based approach, I will utilize their interests and learning preferences, relational safety, and connection in order to create a safe environment where your child can experience authentic joy in their learning experience. 

4. Follow-Up & Consultation
I will then provide you with a short analysis of what we worked on and how the session went, which will be emailed to you after the session, within 24 hours. This will include a brief summary of what I noticed about their overall strengths and challenges, what strategies I used to support and stretch these capacities, as well as recommendations for further support.  I will include upcoming availability for follow-up sessions, as well. If you would like to book recurring sessions, we can discuss availability at this time as well. 

Price: $50/hour
